Anti-blister System

Wrightsock stands out with the double layer technique. This unique and acclaimed technique makes blisters a thing of the past.

  • Minimal friction and therefore minimal friction heat.
  • Moisture is quickly wicked away.

Since 1990, Wrightsock socks have helped many hikers and runners.

Minimal friction
With every step you take, you cause small shifts between your shoe, sock, and skin. Over long distances, this friction can lead to hotspots. Wrightsock’s double-layer system absorbs this by connecting the inner and outer sock at three points. This way, friction caused by the foot rolling between the inner and outer sock is absorbed. This is different from single-layer socks, where friction occurs between the sock and skin.

Minimal heat
The double-layer system prevents as much as possible the rubbing and shifting of the skin and sock, causing hardly any friction heat. This keeps your feet cooler, your skin drier, and stronger.

Minimal moisture
The inner sock is made of special patented Dri-Wright polyester fibers. These hollow fibers quickly wick moisture to the next layer, so Wrightsock ensures noticeably drier feet. Dry feet are strong feet and are less likely to develop blisters.
